The main objective of GATE test is to identify the quality of students and assess their potential to continue higher education. It becomes easy to evaluate the students with technical & non-technical skill at defined scale and consistency to pursue higher studies in the field of engineering at IISc, NITs and IITs.
The questions of GATE examination are usually the derivation of basic fundamentals of their engineering subjects and preparation of GATE is an ongoing process and is supposed to take place at beginning of their engineering stages.
The following points should be taken care while preparing notes.
- The notes should be prepared in form of bullets.
- Always highlight the point which you made a mistake more than once because that will keep you reminding that you should take care.
- The font of handwritten notes should be small and try to put as much as data in a single line as possible then the number of pages covered will be less and will imbibe them as you will be confident that you have to revise a less no. of pages.
- Sometimes, it is also good to keep a track of some numericals which you felt were very good and helpful by noting down the page no. and question no. so that you can refer them once before the exam.
- The notes are specific to the person that creates them as you may want to write something which seems very trivial to some other person, but you should write it down because the notes are meant for you only and notfor anyone else.
